It was only a matter of time before all of the networks started cancelling shows and ordering replacements for the fall.

I lost two favorites to cancellation over the past week – FOX’s Almost Human and NBC’s Revolution. The anger I feel at NBC is somewhat tempered by the fact that they saved Hannibal – but I’m still a little angry.

The only show that I watch left in limbo at this point is NBC’s Parenthood. My guess would be that the network is trying to work a deal out with the show runners that would lower production costs. Parenthood is an expensive show. It’s got a really expensive cast. Those production numbers are going to have to go down if the show is going to survive.

As for the new shows, I’ll probably break those down for everybody next week. There is some interesting stuff in there.
