Well, the current television season hasn’t even completely ended yet, but
everyone is looking forward to next season already.
The cancellations and pickups have been announced, and now it’s time to
take a look at each network and what they’re changing.
To kick things off, we’re looking at ABC.
Not a lot has changed on the network, but there are a decent amount of
new shows.
From a personal perspective, I’m thrilled that ABC has decided to
schedule ‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ – the spinoff from the blockbuster
movie ‘The Avengers’ – on Tuesdays. That’s a show I’m definitely interested in
and I don’t want to see it wedged in on a night when I’m already laden with
television shows.
The other new show I’m interested in is ‘Once Upon a Time in Wonderland’ –
the spinoff of ‘Once Upon a Time.’ I’m not quite sure what the rationale of
scheduling the new show for the ultra-competitive 8 p.m. Thursday slot is, though.
Why wouldn’t you pair ‘Once Upon a Time’ and ‘Once Upon a Time in
Wonderland’ together on Sunday and move ‘Revenge’ to Thursdays?
Anyway, here is ABC’s schedule for next year.
